GEOLOGICAL MUSEUM, IPOH
In its heyday, Perak was world famous for its tin mining history. Revisit this glorious past at the Geological Museum, which houses more than 600 samples of minerals and ores found in the state. This museum is famous for its display of the best specimens of cassiterite in the world, the principal ore of tin. There is also an extraordinary collection of fossils, precious stones and various rock specimens found and collected over the years.
