Concerned for the carbon footprint, the entire retreat has an on-going eco-friendly and green practice since its conception, and is incorporated throughout the retreat.

Green is at the heart of its design philosophy, as can be seen from the layout plan which melds into the natural topography, preserving ecological elements such as limestone outcrops, foliage and water bodies.

Most of the buildings require minimum use of air-conditioning, built in such a way as to promote cross ventilation using ceiling fans.
